key lime pie...

September 14, 2011

if i had to choose my favorite new hobby (other then blogging) i would have to say it's baking! growing up my mom was always doing something crafty around the house. weather it was sewing new curtains for the kitchen, re-staining an old funky chair, or baking pies & cakes for her friends. so i guess naturally, i'm an art's n craft's lover... but it definitely took me a while to wrap my head around the meticulous aspect of baking. i mean, how fun does 1/4 cup of this and 3/4 tablespoon of that sound? before, not fun at all! i've always relied on my creativity in the kitchen or w. my daily crafts, so this new measuring thing is a whole new animal. i am however, loving the new challenges in baking, especially when the end result is so delish!

** if you're a beginner baker (like me) then try this recipe out... i couldn't be easier and the key lime pie is just SO good!

// side-note //
 {If possible, buy this Nellie & Joe's Key West Lime Juice... it's the best and has the recipe directly on the back of the bottle! You can find it at Bristol Farms.}

I hope you try this at home... and remember (if you're a non-baker)
this one is super easy and very, very delicious!!!

OMG...I have been looking for a good key lime pie recipe that is somewhat realistic for a somewhat experienced baker to make! So glad to discover this and did you make it to target yesterday? I heard it was madness, I was stuck at home with a cold boo!
