INTERIORS: eclectic charm

all photo's via Emily Henderson

this week in my favorite new category Interiors i wanted to show you the beyond colorful & eclectic home of interior designer Emily Henderson. i heard of this Emily Henderson a while back but when she bedazzeled one of my favorite blogger's homes (Bri from Design Love Fest) i had to track this designer down. and once i did, i found this gorgeous collection of photo's from the designers home! i love how she mixes color, prints, different wood types, simple pieces mixed with eclectic flea market finds, and some how adds charm & personality through her designs... basically, i dig her style. i hope you enjoy the photo's below... and can find a little inspiration!

INTERIORS: mid-century hawaiian loft

via Design Sponge

living in good ole downtown LA, this cool couple Jon & Nina Hans has managed to turn their brightly lit loft into a mid-century Hawaiian dream! while browsing around one of my fave blogs (Design Sponge) this weekend, i stumbled upon this bright, white, and colorful space. instantly i fell in love with the couple's modern furniture (those couches, bar stools, & hutch!) are a dream... and the pops of color mixed with white open spaces made me definitely swoon. and what about that bed?? i could nap in there for hours, daily! i hope you find a little inspiration in this laid back LA loft.

INTERIORS: farm house

first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the HOUSE HUNTING! which let me tell you can be pretty exciting & super scary all at the same time!! first of all, who knew my dream home was millions and millions of dollars?!!! turns out the LA/Southbay housing market is crazy expensive and some what intimidating. the fireman and i have been looking at homes casually for a few years, but now that it's time to pull the trigger... things are getting REAL. so what ever house we can get our hands on... i will have to be super creative at decorating on a budget. sounds like a fun challenge to me! but for now... let's just daydream!
