well it's that time of year folks! the weather is cooling off, pears are in season, and the holiday cards are starting to trickle in! so what do you do with all those wonderful holiday cards that make their way into your humble abode??? whelp, i only had one (reoccurring) strategy... until now! don't worry peeps, i've surfed the web high & low to find new fancy ways to display those cards we all know and love. so check out some fabulous ideas on HOW TO display your current {holiday} cards before they start to pile up!

 a fabulous photo wreath...

a homemade photo tree...

let those photo's hang...

string those photo's up...

 or {my favorite} simply clothespin your photo's to a simple wire or better yet... a row of bright white Christmas lights!

I love the cards hanging from the tree, it looks so pretty, mine usually just get dotted around the house, wherever there's space to stand them :) xx

I really never know what to do with holiday cards but these are all genius ideas. My favorite is the clothes pin on string lights but that feels like a fire hazard to me too. Maybe I'll just go for the photo wreath. I agree with Erin that it's very apartment friendly.

so...i just hang mine on the inside of my front door! with tape. because i'm classy like that. but you can't see the tape. and my front door looks festive. so it's win-win!

What smart way of hanging those holiday cards. I would have never thought that there would be more than one way, haha. I especially like the wreath and the lights (especially when you don't have room for a tree). So, thank goodness for reviving the card ritual back!
