happy happy, tgif! you know those friday's that seem even more exciting then others?? in my early 20's i would get that feeling when i had big plans for the weekend... like going out to a chic new club. but now i get that feeling when i have nothing on the agenda but being with my mini family in our little home. especially when the weather is predicted to be cool & stormy! my plans consist of cuddling up on the couch with some arts n' crafts, cooking a new soup recipe, breaking out my new mixer, and hopefully checking out that Quentin Tarantino movie. sounds pretty mellow... but like perfection, to me.

ONE WEEK DOWN.

 i wish i had more exciting news for our first week of 2013. but sadly to say we lost a huge part of our family, the fireman's incredible grandpa. this week was full: the fireman got the flu, charlie had a doggie cold, we had the service for grandpa, and spent lots of quality time with our family. it was a sad week that was some how full of happy & funny moments. needless to say, the fireman, charlie, and i are pooped & hope to sleep in a little tomorrow morning.

5 things: HAPPY NEW YEAR!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! how was your last night of twenty-twelve?? did you spend it out on the town, in with friends, or cozy in bed before the clock struck 12:00? the fireman & i had our friends KC & Chanel over for tons of apps, dinner, drinks, and a little game of Scattergories! have you ever played that game?! it's the best!(and we're not huge game people!!) especially while sipping yummy cocktails with amazingly competitive friends. it was so much fun that we almost played right through the countdown!! so needless to say it was an awesome new years eve!
