i n g r e d i e n t s:
1 1/2 fresh peaches
2 cups milk {2%}
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup granulated sugar
pinch salt {a big pinch}
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/4 vanilla bean {sliced & scraped}
1/2 cup granola {i used "18 Rabbits" pecan, almond, maple}
{in a medium bowl... combine and whisk together the milk, cream, salt and sugar}
{add the vanilla extract & vanilla bean... and whisk!}
{dice peaches into small squares, then add... try not to eat too much of your ingredients!}
{add granola... you want the granola to soak up all the yummy flavors}
{let the delicious mixture sit for ONE HOUR in the fridge.}
{after an hour, pour mixture into the ice cream maker for 20 mins}
{my ice cream maker is by Cuisinart $59.95... and works great!}
{and voilĂ !! you have yourself a fun twist on a summer tradition!}
