stop to smell the roses...

with the daily hustle and bustle of our busy lives, it can be very easy to walk by something beautiful without acknowledging it. this morning on my walk into work i noticed these perfectly pink English Roses have started to finally bloom! i love any flower that have an abundance of petals tucked and layered on top of one another... it's almost as if the petals are fighting for space. they're gorgeous! i love peonies for this same reason. anyway, moral of this little story is... stop and smell the roses. in other words, enjoy the little things!
